Your time, energy and experiences are of great value to Alternatives. Volunteering for a few hours a week makes a huge difference to the charity and to the community.

  • Volunteer Counsellors

    Volunteer Counsellors are required to support people struggling with  pregnancy and pregnancy loss. You would need to be qualified and a member of BACP or ACC and able to offer 2-3 hours per week. A contribution towards supervision will be made.

  • Volunteer Shop Assistant

    Work a few hours a week serving customers, sorting donations and help running the shop.

If you have only a few hours to spare on an ad-hoc basis but would still like to get involved, please contact the office to discuss any one-off ways you could help from providing support for a fundraising event, to giving us some help with administration. We'd love to have you as part of the team!
