Lent Project Collection

We are incredibly impressed by the amazing children at Berkhamsted Pre-Prep School, for raising a remarkable £2,300 for Alternatives, specifically to support our Baby Baskets initiative. Our Baby Baskets offer essential supplies for the first three months of a baby's life, neatly packed in a new Moses Basket. The baskets include necessities like nappies, toiletries, clothing, blankets, wipes, books, toys, and more.

Each year, the children at Berkhamsted Pre-Prep take part in a Lent Project. They are

asked to help with chores at home for family and friends in return for a donation to a charity.  As you can see, this child has chosen to collect for warm blankets and baby books.

We were amazed to see that the children have been gardening, cleaning and drawing for their donations!

Thanks to this generous donation, we can supply more than 30 Baby Baskets to those in need. We are so grateful to the staff and children for supporting and dedicating their time to this meaningful project.
